Two translators

L’atelier de traduction, or “the Translation Workshop”, is located in the Périgord region of south-western France. Founders Stéphanie Peyrouny Gilormini and Frédéric Peyrouny both hold degrees from Germany’s Saarbrücken Translation Institute.
The partners began their translation careers together in the Language Services Department at DaimlerChrysler. They then gained additional hands-on translation and proofreading experience working at two translation agencies; one in Germany, the other in France. They founded L’atelier de traduction in 2004.

One philosophy

L’atelier de traduction is a small business guided by the traditional artisan values of pride in its work, attention to detail and tailor-made service. In short, at L’atelier de traduction, we value quality rather than quantity.

Two foreign languages

Faithful to our promise to provide service of the highest quality, we have made the deliberate choice to focus only on what we do best. That’s why we only offer services from German and English into French.
