Hardware and software

L’atelier de traduction has a Windows XP Professional computer network and broadband Internet access. We use the MS Office Professional suite. In addition, we have leading reference software like ProLexis and Encyclopædia Universalis.

Our toolkit also includes computer-aided-translation software Trados Translator's Workbench, Wordfast and Xbench. These technologies help ensure consistent use of terminology and optimal management of large projects.

Files are typically sent and received by email; however, for large documents, we offer file transfer by FTP.

A world of words

The following English-French glossary has been developed throughout various translation projects we have completed. It is intended solely to provide a better understanding of certain technical concepts or concepts common to both languages.
